Product and Shipping Details

Created by webmaster
Our official name for these products is "handheld folding fans".

Product descriptions:
>> website product descriptions

The product descriptions contain public prices for smaller volumes 50, 100 or 200. These prices are the main guideline for these kind of requests. For small customers, we simply extract the relevant information and include manually in email.

For all others, i.e. over 200, the pdf "price list" = price link is relevant. Product price information in protected directory on the website. Note that quoted prices muststill fit in with prices mentioned in the description as well as the protected directory (for given volumes).

Customisation information and prices is here:
>> folding fan customisations

Summarising additional one-time charges:
logo processing: 45.00 usd (plus per fan cost need see logo)
order up to 150.00 usd: 25.00 usd
rush order: 22.50 usd
name and date processing: 22.50 usd (plus per fan cost see list)
special paper or other material color: 22.50 (plus cost of the paper)

For shipping we need to charge 5.5% above actual quotes to offset the credit card charges. This cost is included in any amount mentioned in the public part of the website (o.e. the retail and event organiser packages) and also the shipping prices for shown for fans.

Shipping information for the standard packages is here:
>> website standard package shipping costs

Here's the problem: The shipping information there is supposed to be correct for all shipping, except EMS and UPS (which fluctuate constantly) So these must be looked up in the current tables.

All postal mail weights can be looked up at
>> Thailand Post calculator, at any time when it is actually working (Sundays is not a good day). Needles to say, the 5.5% needs to be added to these costs and for the customer quotation it needs to be converted to usd. For this we use the exchange rate 39.00.

For UPS cost I made a separate list, please download and then I'll delete it from here again:
>> UPS Shipping list
This list already has the 5.5% in it and also converts automatically by the correct exchange rate. It just needs to be looked up on the table. A half kilo more or less is very price sensitive and we've lost lots of money due to material being more moist than usual and therefore heavier and therefore lots of dollars costlier. So its better to err on the heavier side than the lighter side.

Finally a standard email, generic type:
>> standard eamil reply text
This is the standard reply text for a first email. However, we always put in wording to make the customer understand that our email is very specific to their request, ie use their wordings, and try to address any and all specific issues or statemens, so that the customer feels "understood".
About 90% of our emails are answered by Supaporn, the rest by myself.

The standar mail does not show a shipping calculation that is possible with basic quantity and arrival deadline information. These details would basically replace/detail the "We can ship by" part. If possible it is always good to present the customer with a choice. It means the customer will choose among the presented alternatives - not think about if they will buy the product or not.

I hope you can make some heads and tails out of it. We can also talk on the phone.
