The residence is located in Lampoeng village, slightly north of central Chiang Mai city, off Suthep road
Short directions:
Locate the back entrance of Wat Lampoeng and make a u turn in the parking lot, facing north (the road). Take the road in direction east (right), then the first soi north (left). Then the first soi west (again left), then the first soi north (right), at the Y keep northeast (right) and continue uphill to end of the path. All sois get smaller with each turn!
Detailed directions:
- from huay keauw road, turn left into suthep road, there will be a canal on your right side, keep on going
- turn right into umong road at the thai sign sipsong panaa (Kantoke), this is just after the banana tree restaurant
- follow umong road, pass the broccoli restaurant (left side) and sipsong panaa (right side)
- slow down and follow a sharp right and a sharp left curve
- take a left (practically straight) at the Y intersection (long thai sign: to the wildlife preservation center)
- keep on this road, pass the right-hand sign for the fire station (straight on) and the wildlife preservation center (right)
- watch out for the left-hand green firestation sign, pointing to the right
- there are two water pots on the left entrance of this soi
- go uphill for about 150m and take the first left turn into the unpaved road (and don't follow any more inviting signs)
- turn right into the first soi, at the sign saying 12 ton weight limit
- drive up, put your vehicle into low gear, keep right at the Y and keep going straight up
- never mind if the road gets narrow, the house is at the end of this soi!
